About the Role
Financial Management & Reporting
Assist in managing the overall finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with brand and ownership requirements.
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance analysis.
Monitor revenues, costs, and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and cost control.
Ensure proper accounting treatment in compliance with IFRS and local UAE regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
Analyze variances and provide financial insights to support operational decisions.
Assist in cash flow monitoring and working capital management.
Controls & Compliance
Ensure strong internal controls are in place across all finance and operational processes.
Oversee audits (internal, external, and brand audits) and ensure timely resolution of findings.
Maintain compliance with UAE tax regulations (including VAT) and corporate policies.
Safeguard hotel assets through effective control procedures.
Operational Finance Support
Work closely with department heads to improve financial awareness and accountability.
Review contracts, procurement processes, and capital expenditure requests.
Support payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger oversight.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring high performance and development.
Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the Director of Finance.
Promote a culture of integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the department.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA) is highly desirable.
Minimum 6–8 years of finance experience within hospitality, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in luxury 5-star hotels is essential.
GCC/Middle East experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems
Solid understanding of hospitality financial KPIs and cost control practices.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
