About the Role
The Sales & Distribution Director will lead the hotel’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth through corporate, leisure, and distribution channels. The role is responsible for managing key accounts, optimizing distribution performance, and strengthening the hotel’s positioning across local, regional, and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute the sales and distribution strategy in line with brand and revenue objectives.
Lead corporate and leisure sales efforts, managing key accounts, TMCs, and strategic partners.
Oversee all distribution channels, ensuring optimal mix, rate integrity, and strong online visibility.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing to drive pricing, demand, and market share.
Negotiate contracts, manage RFPs, and maximize long-term account value.
Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and distribution team.
Requirements
Extensive experience in hospitality commercial leadership, with 8–10 years in senior commercial roles, including a minimum of 5 years within luxury 5-star hotel environments in the UAE.
Consistent history of driving strong revenue performance, achieving or surpassing commercial and distribution targets over at least three consecutive years.
Solid corporate sales background with proven success managing key UAE and GCC multinational clients, travel management companies, and international travel partners.
Advanced expertise across all major distribution platforms, including direct channels, GDS, OTAs/IDS, and metasearch, with strong control over rate parity and digital content strategy.
Highly competent in commercial negotiations, corporate RFP processes, and the implementation of dynamic pricing models.
Deep commercial insight into the UAE hospitality market, including demand patterns, seasonality, and compliance with VAT, PDPL, and local tourism regulations.
Strong people leader with a collaborative mindset, experienced in developing high-performing teams and working closely with revenue, marketing, and operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential, while Arabic proficiency is considered an asset.
