About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department at a luxury 5-star property in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This critical leadership role is responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all guest rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and laundry operations. The successful candidate will manage a large, multicultural team while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and seamless service delivery in line with international 5-star luxury benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, train, and develop a high-performing housekeeping and laundry team, fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and guest-centric service.
Oversee all daily housekeeping operations, including room turnovers, deep cleaning, public area maintenance, minibar/amenity setup, and laundry services.
Develop, implement, and continuously monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cleaning schedules, quality inspection programs, and hygiene protocols to ensure consistent 5-star standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house facilities; address deficiencies promptly and maintain detailed quality records.
Manage departmental budgeting, cost control, inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and equipment; optimize resource usage while maintaining par levels and minimizing waste.
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, timely room readiness, and exceptional guest experiences.
Handle guest feedback, special requests, and VIP requirements with discretion and professionalism.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, sustainability practices, and brand/hotel policies.
Recruit, onboard, and performance-manage staff; prepare duty rosters, manage payroll inputs, and implement training programs to elevate team skills.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including loss prevention, energy conservation, and innovation in housekeeping practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in housekeeping leadership roles, with at least 3–5 years as Executive Housekeeper (or equivalent) in a 5-star luxury hotel, resort, or palace property.

  • Proven track record in managing large teams (50+ staff) in multicultural, high-volume luxury environments.

  • Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards, quality assurance systems, inventory management, and cost control.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).

  • Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Proficient in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, or similar) and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation luxury setting with attention to detail and a passion for perfection.
